Freedom House is a transformative living sanctuary dedicated to empowering women on their journey towards lasting change. Within our supportive environment, residents embark on a path to reclaim their lives, nurturing independence and success as active contributors to society. This is achieved by breaking free from the cycles of dysfunction that have impacted their lives and families.
Our transitional housing program is specifically designed for women transitioning from homelessness, incarceration, human trafficking, and addiction treatment. It provides a nurturing haven where they can safely identify and develop the life skills essential for their independence. Through comprehensive life skills training, personalized counseling, and tailored care plans, residents gain the tools needed for a brighter future.
At Freedom House, expectations are set high to foster growth and responsibility. Residents engage in a robust curriculum including financial literacy, career development, resume crafting, business etiquette, and digital proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Integration into a community group and participation in community service hours enrich their journey, reinforcing the importance of giving back.
Our approach is holistic and supportive. We guide each woman through a process of self-discovery, career alignment via personality assessments, and the development of a personalized case plan. Accountability is a cornerstone of our program, with a strong network of peers, leaders, and mentors offering unwavering support. Every resident is paired with a mentor for personalized guidance and encouragement.
Adherence to the program's structure is critical for success, encompassing educational classes, spiritual growth through church and life groups, and rigorous case management. To maintain a healthy and safe environment, residents comply with random drug testing and room searches, and are required to contribute financially to their living expenses and future savings.
Freedom House equips participants for self-sufficient living through a comprehensive blend of educational, vocational, and community engagement activities. By dedicating 25 hours weekly to program goals and engaging in community service, residents work closely with our team to shape a promising future, underscored by independence, career readiness, and community involvement.
